Technician Assignment Specialist

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dispatch outside field technicians to computer related service calls throughout the country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities include the following:
  • Receive calls for dispatching purposes in a queue system.
  • Must retrieve open calls out of the queue system.
  • Open up calls to be dispatched and determine what type of service is needed by the customer.
  • Locate field technicians in customer area.
  • Interpret needs of customer to technician via telephone such as broken equipment, parts ordered, arrival of parts to customer, location of customer, and fees for services rendered.
  • Email technicians work orders.
  • Email technicians directions to customer location.
  • Email Client Relations Specialist confirmation on scheduled work orders.
  • Follow up with Client Relation Specialist or technician as needed via telephone or email.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience:
    • Previous sales experience, previous collections experience or previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills Needed:
    • Basic knowledge on how to operate a computer.
    • Computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
    • Must be able to type at least 20 WPM.
    • Must know to copy and paste in MS Word.
    • Must be able to send an email in MS Outlook, as well as attach a document to the email.

HOURS:
TWO SHIFTS:
  • 9AM-6PM
  • 10AM-7PM
